AUDITION CALL FOR Breathing Corpses by Laura Wade

Wednesday 21st AUGUST 2013 @ 7.30pm at PLAYERS THEATRE DAVENHAM

Audition pieces will be issued beforehand.

PLEASE LET ED GREEN KNOW WHICH PART YOU WISH TO AUDITION FOR.

The acclaimed modern writer Laura Wade’s “Breathing Corpses” will be presented at Davenham in the week commencing 4th November 2013

“When a man has lost all happiness he is not alive. Call him a breathing corpse.” - Sophocles

Amy’s found another body in a hotel bedroom.

There’s a funny smell coming from one of Jim’s storage units.

Kate’s losing it after spending all day with the police.

There’s no going back after what they have seen.

“Laura Wade’s play is like a crossword puzzle where all the clues have to do with death. This is a tight, tense play: you can’t miss a single word, a single gesture...Wade uses the play’s shifting structure to make you feel disorientated, almost scared...The tensions, the emotions and the sense of absurdity are brilliantly handled....A terrifying tour de force.” THE SUNDAY TIMES
